Usage of Meirik Coins and Vouchers Terms & Conditions

(‘TERMS & CONDITIONS’)

• This Usage of Meirik Coins and Vouchers Terms & Conditions regulates the way in which the Meirik Coins can be used and Vouchers utilised.
• The issuer of the Vouchers and MC is Meirik Limited a company incorporated in England (registration number 09928382) whose registered office is at 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom, email: office@meirik.com.
• The following definitions shall apply in these Terms & Conditions (Terms):
• • 3.1 Code - a sequence of characters generated and automatically allocated to a Voucher.
  • 3.2 Commencement Date – 14^th September 2021.
  • 3.3 Discount - discount to the cost of Services offered by Meirik Limited of such a value that reflects the number of Meirik Coins allocated to a Voucher.
  • 3.4 Expiry Date - a day being the last day of the Relevant Period.
  • 3.5 MC Holder - a natural person, legal person or an organizational unit that is not a legal person, to which the law grants the legal capacity to whom MC has been issued.
  • 3.6 Meirik Coin (MC) - a non-convertible digital token that may only be used for the purchase of Services provided by Meirik Limited, whereby each MC shall provide the Discount to the price of Service.
  • 3.7 Relevant Period - a period of 12 calendar months commencing with the date of issue of a Voucher.
  • 3.8 Sales Broker - an external organisation that arranges a transaction between Meirik Limited and its clients, including Voucher Holders. A list of Sales Brokers used by Meirik Limited from time to time can be found here.
  • 3.9 Service - one of the professional training courses conducted in English as per the list available here.
  • 3.10 Services - any (or all) of professional training courses conducted in English as offered Meirik Limited in English, that full list is available at www.meirik.com
  • 3.11 Voucher - a non-convertible digital note issued by Meirik Limited to a Voucher Holder which will specify the number of MC held by the Voucher Holder allocated to the specific Voucher.
  • 3.12 Voucher Holder - a natural person, legal person or an organizational unit that is not a legal person, the law of which grants legal capacity, which received a Voucher.
  • 3.13 We, us - Meirik Limited.
  • 3.14 You - the Voucher Holder.
• The instruction on how to use your Vouchers is available here. The instruction should be read in conjunction with these Terms & Conditions.
• The Discount, shall be calculated in the following manner: (number of MC as on the Voucher) / (price of the Service in MC) * (price for the Service in real money). The maximum Discount that can be applied is 100% of the price of the Service.
• A Voucher may only be applied to one Service and cannot be applied to an aggregate of Services.
• In order to secure a place in the chosen professional public training offered as Service, you must complete the registration process with our Sales Broker.
• We do not guarantee that further sessions of the chosen professional public training offered as Service will be provided in the future.
• Meirik Limited by no means guarantees that the prices for professional training courses offered as Services will remain the same and it reserve a right to change the prices reflected in both, MC and real money at any time. We strongly encourage you to check our websites for the most current prices for our Services.
• If the cost of the Service exceeds the MC balance on the Voucher (or Vouchers), you must pay any remaining balance in the real money and currency displayed at the time of the purchase.
• A Voucher may only be used once. If the Voucher has been used, it shall become void and may not be used again.
• If the cost of the Service is less than the MC balance on the Voucher (or Vouchers), Meirik Limited shall issue a new Voucher to you, to which any unused MC will be allocated. The new Voucher shall include a new Expiry Date where the Period of validity shall be from the date of the issue of the new Voucher.
• The Voucher (and any MC allocated to the relevant Voucher) shall automatically expire at 23:59 on the Expiry Date (UTC). All MCs which have been allocated to the relevant Voucher shall automatically expire and will no longer be redeemable or transferrable to a new Voucher.
• The Voucher may not be used retrospectively. If you have not entered the Code and sought to redeem the Voucher at the time of purchase of the Service, MC may not be used to obtain the Discount for Services already purchased, whether such Services have been delivered or not.
• The MC Holder is responsible for whom and on what terms the Vouchers are made available. Meirik Limited will redeem the Voucher and MC for each person who has valid Vouchers and MC.
• Neither Voucher nor MC can be redeemed for cash or returned for a refund. Voucher and MC have no value redeemable for cash and do not constitute legal tender.
• Vouchers cannot have balances of multiple Vouchers consolidated to a new Voucher or replaced with a new Voucher unless otherwise agreed by Meirik Limited at its own discretion.
• We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. If these Terms & Conditions are suspended, cancelled or amended, we will notify the Voucher Holders by email to the email address we hold for the Voucher Holder.
• Any personal information provided to us shall be processed under the terms of our Privacy Policy and these Terms shall apply in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
• These Terms shall apply in conjunction with Meirik’s Terms & Conditions for Provision of Training Services which may be accessed here.
• If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales, whose courts shall have sole jurisdiction in relation to all matters arising.
