Through a series of realistic exercises and Sprints, students gain the skills needed to deliver high-quality software by combining the Scrum framework with Agile and DevOps practices. By actively participating in coding exercises and working within a Scrum Team, students learn by doing, ensuring they leave the course with practical, actionable knowledge.
This 24h* course provides a practical understanding of what it takes to build software with Scrum in real-world scenarios. Participants collaborate within Scrum Teams over a series of Sprints, applying modern engineering practices while using Scrum to manage complexity. The course emphasises creating and delivering functional, releasable increments of software.
Students will encounter real-world challenges and learn how to continuously improve their workflows. Key topics include integrating Agile engineering practices and leveraging DevOps tools to enhance the capabilities of Scrum Teams.
The course is tailored to meet diverse technical needs, offering specific tracks for .NET and Java technologies, as well as a technology-agnostic option. For private sessions, our Professional Scrum Trainers will customise the course to align with your organization’s preferred technology stack.
The .NET version of this course was developed in partnership with Microsoft® and serves as the official training solution for Microsoft Visual Studio.
*When delivered in person, the course typically runs for three consecutive days. For Live Virtual Classes, it may be divided into shorter sessions spread over multiple days.
